Privacy policy

Skyloft Suites is a family-run stay. We only ask for what we need to reply to your enquiry, and we never sell your details.
What the enquiry form collects
Your name, phone number, whether you are a working professional or a student, your preferred move-in month, and any message you write.
Why we ask
To reply to you, answer your questions, and arrange a visit to the room. Nothing else.
How it is shared
When you press “Send on WhatsApp”, the form opens WhatsApp on your device with your details filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp yourself. WhatsApp handles that message under its own privacy policy.
This website does not store your form details.
If you create an account
A resident account stores your name, email, mobile number, whether you are a professional or a student, and any room and visit requests, rent dues and maintenance requests. Only you and the Skyloft Suites owners can see them. They are kept with our database provider, Supabase, and used only to manage your booking and stay. We email you about your account and stay (a welcome email, booking and maintenance updates) through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES). Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you logged in; it isn't used for tracking.
For security, we keep a log of sign-ins (including failed attempts), sign-outs and changes made to accounts and bookings, with the time, the IP address and the type of device and browser. Only the Skyloft Suites owners can see it, and it is used only to keep accounts safe and to check who changed what.
Verification documents
Police verification of tenants is required by law in Mohali. If you upload your Aadhaar card, a photo, your permanent address and an emergency contact, they are kept in private storage that only you and the Skyloft Suites owners can open, and are shared only with the Punjab Police for tenant verification. We never store your Aadhaar number separately, and we delete the files once verification is complete. You may upload a masked Aadhaar.
To save you typing, your name, father's or husband's name, date of birth, gender and address are read from the card's QR code (or its text) on your own device. The card image is not sent to anyone for this. You check the details before submitting, and we keep only those details, never the Aadhaar number.
Search and “Near me”
If you press “Near me”, your browser asks before sharing your location. It is rounded to about 100 metres, used only to sort PGs by distance and never stored. When you search for a place our own list doesn't know, the place name (not who you are) is looked up on OpenStreetMap.
Maps and analytics
The Google Map on our page only loads if you press “Show map”. Google may then set its own cookies. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Deleting your details
You can ask us to delete your messages and details at any time. Message us on WhatsApp or call +91 87278 42918.
